Wish #13 and #14

My Mom has some regular stitching buddies that are a talented, smart, fun and caring group of gals. On the previously mentioned trip home, we were able to sneak into one of their all day stitching salons at the home of Mrs. Margaret Evans. Margaret is always full of surprises - and surprised us with this adorable plaid fabric. She used it recently to line an outfit she made for her grandchild. Her wish was precious and displays the fabric in a smiley face cutout saying:

We are all so glad you are here!

The second treat from that day was that I received fabric from another of this fabulous foursome. Mrs. Jimmie Overdyke is about the snappiest lady I've ever met. I always have the best time with her. She gave us two lovely books on China - one was a history of China through its art and the other was a pictorial book on Peking (Beijing). These sit on our coffee table now and we often find ourselves thumbing through them as we anticipate our trip to China and our life with Ty. Jimmie gave us a bright, happy floral pattern for Ty. Her wish:

A lot of love waiting for Ty
Jimmie Overdyke

Thank you ladies for these gifts and so much more!
